Double Launch To Mark Fifth Anniversary
Pretty Green, the clothing brand founded by Liam Gallagher, has released campaign images for two of its upcoming collections.
The firm called in British photographer Rankin to handle the latest range from its premium and higher priced Black Label.
Inspired by clothes worn by The Beatles at their last ever gig, the collection offers a 1960s rock ‘n’ roll aesthetic.
The Harrington jacket has been reworked in a monochrome optical fabric and given a slightly cropped cut. Tailoring also features through a navy two-piece Prince of Wales check double-breasted suit.
On working with Pretty Green, Rankin said it was great to“bring the vision for Black Label to life”.
“It’s all in the detail, you can really see the way the visual elements of this reference are worked into the tailoring. The end result is a striking collection of images that have the swagger and attitude Liam is so famous for,”he added.
To celebrate its fifth anniversary, the brand has also produced The Manchester AW14 campaign to showcase its Green Label.
The images explore the people and places that influenced Gallagher’s personal style, from his early days in the city to mainstream success with Oasis and Beady Eye.
Locations used include the iconic Ritz music venue, which has hosted The Smiths, Arctic Monkeys and Gallagher himself.
Key pieces in the line are made up by the brand’s signature faux fur trimmed parka coat, with casual polos and bomber jacket also featuring.
Prices for AW14 Black Label start from £85 for shirts, £158 for trousers and blazers at £360 and will available from late August.
Select Green Label items are available now with the full collection dropping in the coming weeks, prices start at £25 for t-shirts, running up to £325 for leather jackets.
Both lines will be available from Pretty Green stores and online from .
