Pretty Little Liars(ABC Family, Returns Tuesday, January 7that 8PM)

As the “A” mystery continues to unfold, Spencer (Troian Bellisario), Hanna (Ashley Benson), Aria (Lucy Hale), and Emily (Shay Mitchell) have become masters of the plot twist. But dramatic gasps aren’t the only thing these lovely ladies have mastered; their style—effortlessly chic daywear, flirty dresses, and plenty of costume parties looks—is enviable. Even if their lives aren’t.

Scandal(ABC, Returns Thursday, February 27th, 10 PM)

The painfully chic Olivia Pope (Kerry Washington) is a fixer, heading up a Washington D.C. group of “gladiators” that solve problems with panache. (She’s also the presidential mistress of “Fitz” aka Tony Goldwyn.) Luckily for us, her professional style also applies to her wardrobe, a monochromatic rainbow of black, white, grey, and beige power pieces. Olivia Pope wears the pants in every situation, literally, but truly, it’s all about the coats: a Burberry Prorsum tailored trench, a Ferragamo breakaway wrap, and a particularly sharp McQueen blazer—each complimented with the perfect Prada bag.

American Horror Story: Coven(FX, Wednesdays at 10PM)

The third instalment of theAmerican Horror Storyseries follows a coven of  bad-arse witches (Jessica Lange, Sarah Paulson, Taissa Farmiga, and Emma Roberts) in New Orleans, but save for the all-black ensembles, there are no storybook costumes here. Instead, you’ll find chic peplum, Herve Leger body-con minis, and our favourite, Stevie Nicks-like boho dresses. (Another reason to watch? Stevie will be appearing in an upcoming episode!)

The Carrie Diaries(The CW, Fridays at 8 PM)

If the Technicolor fashion on this prequel toSex and the Cityis supposed to heighten our love for the ‘80s, it’s certainly working. Carrie Bradshaw (AnnaSophia Robb) and friends, transported back to high school via The CW time machine, look like they’re having a blast. And why wouldn’t they?  They’re wearing the raddest decade-appropriate looks: bright patterned slinky dresses, cropped sweaters, and flouncy, flared minis. And the accessories! Chunky necklaces and earrings, fluorescent heels, mismatched tights... FamedSex and the Citycostume designer Patricia Field would be proud.

Girls(HBO, Returns Sunday, January 12that 10PM)

Heading into the third season, our favourite group of girls, Hannah (Lena Dunham), Marnie (Allison Williams), Jessa (Jemima Kirke), and Shoshanna (Zosia Mamet), are more socially awkward and—dare we say it?—stylish than ever. From quirky cool to unapologetically uptight and free-spirited, the series showcases a delightful range of sensibilities, which begs the question, which character are you?

House of Cards(Netflix, Returns Friday, February 14th)

Set in the world of D.C. politics, this drama stars Kevin Spacey and Robin Wright as Senator Frank and Claire Underwood, the power couple host and hostess with the mostest secrets. Kate Mara plays a green reporter—aptly clad in Zara, Urban Outfitters, and Topshop. But the fashion focus is on Wright, dressed in mostly American designers like Zac Posen, Ralph Lauren, and Calvin Klein, rounded out with Theory and Banana Republic. The actress stuns in striking architectural dresses, sky-high heels, and tailored basics so crisp that you could lose an eye to the corner of her perfectly pressed button-down.

Masters Of Sex(Showtime, Sundays at 10PM)

This drama about pioneering sex researchers Dr. William Masters (Michael Sheen) and Virginia Johnson (Lizzy Caplan) offers up plenty of titillating moments, but we’re super into theMad Men-esque wardrobe. We love the contrast of Caplan’s secretarial high-collar blouses and pencil skirts with Libby Masters’ (Caitlin Fitzgerald) housewife-inspired demure dresses and full skirts.

Reign(The CW, Returns Thursday, January 23rd, 9 PM)

This soapy drama is basicallyThe OCset in 15thcentury France, where Mary Queen of Scots, her ladies, and the French royals scheme, canoodle, and sometimes murder their way through court. The dresses, flowy brocade woven with gold and slinky muslin frocks, are a romantic’s dream. And while hair and makeup are liberal with their adherence to the period, we don’t care: They’re the most perfect rosy cheeks loose braid concoctions, and brushed gold laurel headpieces that we’ve ever seen.

The Americans(FX, Returns in February)

We love espionage, but not for the reason you’d think. You can’t have cloak and dagger without costume changes! And this early ‘80s-set drama—starringFelicity’s Keri Russell andBrothers and Sisters’Matthew Rhys—doesn’t disappoint.
